The Sage of Dakshineswar, Near Kolkatta. Vivekananda was a deciple of this sage, who is said to have realised God in his lifetime. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa is the saint who said God is thriving to come to man in what ever form he can, only thing is that man is not ready to accept him. He proclaimed that he had seen and experience God. The existence of God is not a belief but a reality.

Sri Ramakrishna was born in Kumarpukur, a village in the outskirt of Calcutta. He came to Calcutta as a priest in Kali Temple at Dekshineshwar. He married Saradadevi according to the custom while both of them were children, but was a ascetic for whole life. He attracted many important personalities of his time, which include Iswarchandra Vidya Sagar, Kesab Chandra Sen, sarath Chandra Chattergy
